REVIEW - Moshi Monsters: Katsuma Unleashed (3DS)

Moshi Monsters: Katsuma Unleashed is a sidescrolling platform game for 3DS. The first thing I noticed, was that you can now save on multiple slots. In previous entries (Moshi Monsters: Moshling Zoo [DS] and Moshi Monsters: Moshling Theme Park [DS/3DS]) you could only save on one slot.

Babes better bring me back a burger #50: Castle Crashers

Castle Crashers is a side scrolling RPG that's fun for all ages. You can have up to 4 players and it's better if you play it with someone.

Early Access to Disco Lady #6: Tabletop Simulator

Babes and I have been looking for a new game to play together. So we decided to try Tabletop Simulator. Will we be satisfied? Stay tuned to find out.

Early Access Strikes Again #5: ROCKETSROCKETSROCKETS

My babe got this game for us to play together. I was excited to play some action packed arena-style combat with her.

Early Access thwarts my plans again!

Early Access should be mentioned somewhere in this title... SERIOUSLY #4: Serious Sam Classics: Revolution

You've probably heard of Serious Sam. I mean, who hasn't? Certainly not me 2 and a half years ago, that's for sure.

Anyway, if you haven't heard of Serious Sam, he's a fucking badass. He loves himself so much he wears his name on the back of his shirt.

Acceso Temprano #3: Interstellar Marines

I have no idea where the hell I got this game. I found it in my Steam library and it's an Early Access game so I'm going to review it and you can't stop me.

What's that? Damn you! Don't tell me what to do!!

Top Bananas - Top Bananas

So, the humans here at Roboblog couldn't help but notice our friend Banana Mana has been gone for some time. With him gone, we can finally dominate the world steal Top Bananas and make it our very own.

Day-O

This Access Is Too Damn Early #2: Coin Crypt

Early Access games are like over used pop culture references; you never know what you're gonna get, and you really wish they would just go away. But they're here to stay, so we might as well try to find some good ones.

Early Access, very nice!

Early Access Article #1: FaeVerse Alchemy

You may have noticed the growing trend to back what Steam has dubbed the Early Access genre. Remember when beta testers got paid to test games? Well, now you're the beta tester, and you're the one who pays.

People are putting down huge chunks of cash on Kickstarter, backing these promises of games. This new trend is obviously very controversial. Many refuse to support it, many are angered by the clutter of the store page, feeling it is overrun by these partial games. Other people think it's great. Users like having a say over what goes in their game, they like offering suggestions and seeing the game develop before them. Let us know what you think in the comment section below.

So, to kick (GET IT, LIKE KICKSTARTER, GET IT? GET IT?) us off, we have FaeVerse Alchemy.

Throwing Bees At All Your Problems #49: Faerie Solitaire

Faerie Solitaire is a very unassuming little game. It would be very easy to pass right by it, never realizing what a gem you're missing. It wasn't until it became one of the first Steam games with trading cards that people checked it out, and discovered its juicy secrets. I originally played it as a joke, laughing at its expense until the moment I couldn't stop playing.

Distracted By Drooling #46: Crazy Taxi

If you are young enough that Sega is "the people who make those dumb Sonic games, right?", you may not remember that at one time, Sega was King of All Video Games.

Pictured: The 90's, pretty much.

Once upon a time, there was a cool game called Crazy Taxi. It was originally released in arcades, and is most fondly remembered as a Dreamcast title. But this is the Steam version.

I'll save you some time here. This is not the port you're looking for.

Arsenio Navarro doesn't reply to my boyfriend's emails #44: Mercenary Kings

Word round the water cooler is that shooters have been getting boring lately. The online communities are dying out, sans a few of the bigger titles. Well, I hope this one sticks around because it is actually really awesome.

I wish Easter had Robotbirds #6: Rocketbirds- Hardboiled Chicken

The best thing about Easter is chocolate, no doubt. But did you know the Easter Bunny's sidekick is a Rocketbird?

Easter Bunny Behind the Scenes #5: Bugs Bunny: Lost In Time

Let's try a word association test. What do you think of when I say the word bunny?

You thought either Bugs or Easter.

Well it's Easter Week and this is a Bugs Bunny game, so this shit's going to blow your goddamn mind.

Better Chocolate Than Never #3: Chicken Shoot

Chicken Shoot is a game where you shoot chickens. Titles can't get any more succinct. In that spirit, I'll sum up my thoughts in a few words: Chicken Shoot, more like Shitcken Shit.

Feel free to stop reading right now. It's all downhill from there.

Eggsellent Easter #2: Toki Tori

Welcome, RoboBlog readers. As babes stated in his last review, it is indeed Easter Week. Whoever had this idea is the WORST because it meant I had to play Toki Tori.

Looks are deceiving. You would think a game with a "CUTE" (at least according to some) chicken would be easy. But NO. Toki Tori is hard as chicken balls.

Easter Week: Chocolate Castle

Welcome to Easter Week on RoboBlog. This week, we'll look at a series of games that are in some small way tangentially related to Easter. So buckle up as we play a bunch of game that may have mentioned a bunny somewhere.

Breaking World Records For Hunting #43: Dynamite Jack

Dynamite Jack is a game that demanded to be revisited. Branbekka played this game on a whim many weeks ago, and hated it. But it always called out; a dark whisper in the back of the mind. We have answered the call. Can Dynamite Jack redeem itself?

Spoilers: No.

I can't believe it's not Mercenary Kings #42: Magical Diary

Magical Diary is a visual novel game. You play as a 16 year old girl who finds out she's a witch. Follow her life, and make choices along the way for different outcomes. It's pretty standard stuff.

Performing Kidney Transplants Absentmindedly #41: LYNE

Continuing with what has apparently become an obsessive quest to play all the puzzle games, Branbekka has decided to add LYNE (pronounced la-yen-eh, maybe) to the already massive list of games to review. How does it rate on the Kami-scale (the metric by which all semi-cooperative puzzle games are judged)?

Nancy Drew Can't Even Diffuse A Bomb #40: The Cat and the Coup

There's only one thing my babe and I hate more than cats. Canada.

And, well, the Dunnigans. And Cyndi Lauper. And Walter. V For Vendetta. Iowa. Lily Aldrin. Internet issues. The Detroit Lions' performance. Missing nap time. Duck faces. Banana lollies.

What was I talking about again? Oh, right.

The prom is only months away #39: Torchlight II

If you're looking for a kickass RPG, look no further than Torchlight II.

There's more to being a woman than painting your nails #38: Hexcells

My beautiful boyfriend has taken quite a shine to Steam's new "tag" system. Following the "puzzle" tag, he came across this game (and got it for me ♥).

Coney Condiments #34: Stacking

Everytime I think there is no new ideas out there, Double Fine come out with something new that blows me away. Someone once said to me "I can't imagine anyone not liking this game". And for once, someone on the internet was right about something. Hey, it had to happen eventually- right?

REVIEW - Barbie™ Dreamhouse Party™ (PC)

I'm no stranger to Barbie™ games. In fact, you might say I'm a bit of a Barbie™ game enthusiast. How lucky, then, that I was gifted Barbie™ Dreamhouse Party™ on Steam this Christmas. They say not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but they say nothing about brushing its teeth.

Rebecca Rehashes Roboblog Featuring RoboBran #26: Gone Home

Someone's almost 5 months late to the Gone Home party. I'm sure everyone remembers Luchalma's review from last August. And if you don't, you should read it. Or you're square. And not in a fun way.

Blue Lagoon #25: Jack Lumber

Howdy bloggers, let's cut the small talk and get choppin'

Retroulette: Fatty Bear's Birthday Surprise

Recently we here at RoboBlog celebrated the birthday of one of our own. So in celebration we've chosen to throw all of the, like, 10 games with the word "birthday" in the title into the Retroulette machine and see what comes out.
