MM and DMD #15: Storm in a Teacup

Have you ever tried to squeeze your body into a giant tea cup and not fit? Did it come as a bitter disappointment to you? Well, we're going to sweeten up your day with another brantastic game.

Storm in a Teacup is a platformer unlike any other. That's probably because you are in a tea cup.

At the end of each level, you get confetti. This helps you feel pretty.

Each level has collectibles in the form of sugar cubes. There is also one sticker per level. To 100% the game, the last objective per level is to finish each level without dying. For those who don't have the patience or skill, there are checkpoints in each level to assist you.

Pretty intense for a game called "Storm in a teacup."

The beginning of the game is a cakewalk. (Mmm, cake.) However the levels get quite challenging at some stages in the game. This includes giant wall spikes trying to stab you, so it is essentially a side scroller at this point.

Seems like something stolen from Little Big Planet.

Some of the jumps in the game were kinda tricky. The physics seemed a little bit off to me. The game takes only around 3 hours to beat. For someone with actual skills, it would be a lot quicker. Overall, this game is pretty fucking fun.

Ladies, I'm here all night.

So the game looks kinda cool. Looks like one to get on a good sale.

  3. Yeah, man, I had fun with it. I picked it up off the indie gala store at one point.

I WANT CAKE ALL OVER AGAIN NOW.
