I haven't played a DS game in a helluva long time. I have noticed Lalaloopsy dolls and since I think they're cute (I know, I know, way to "girl up" Robot Squad), I thought I'd get the game. I'm lucky it wasn't packed to the rafters with DLC, because it's published by Activision.
When the game starts, you get to pick which doll to play as. There are a lot of choices. I am not familiar with any of them and I picked one with pink hair on accident. You need to find your character's pet. After you've done that you can go in her house to have special "fun" (craft). My character made ballet slippers in her house. There are different tiers of the crafts being made.

Tier 1 costs 0 supplies. The tier 2 and tier 3 cost more resources (obv). After you become friends with the other dolls you will get to make more crafts. So, if you like baking cookies (even better than Mama's) and sewing pillows and mittens, you've picked the right game.

This isn't really a craft, game, but OK! |

You walk between the Lalaloopsy houses, find their pets, make gifts in their houses to give to the other dolls and continue on your merry way to the next house. If you give them the right gift, you will be lifelong friends. At least, that's what the game tells me.

This is one of the harder pets to find. |

Women sure aren't shy asking for pretty things. |
I am yet to max any of my dolls friendship metres, though I was getting increasingly close before my 3DS gave me the low battery warning and I gave up. The game is very simple and probably not designed for 27 year old women.

This game even has fast travel... |

...so you can get to the Jam factory, pronto. |

Overall, the game is extremely repetitive and lacking content, but probably great for a young child who enjoys the dolls. I hope this review helps anyone on the fence about getting the game.

Came for the Lalapaloosy review, left with a shopping cart full of wholesale NFL jerseys and Louis Vuitton handbags on clearance
